Matt Gorman

Matt Gorman is a seasoned attorney specializing in the fields of land use, municipal law, and litigation. From 2000 to 2010, Mr. Gorman served as legal counsel to numerous municipalities, redevelopment agencies and public entities in Southern California, taking the lead in handling entitlement and oversight on a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial projects. Since 2010, Mr. Gorman has been intensively involved in land use law, CEQA compliance, civil litigation, and real estate transactions. Mr. Gorman routinely works with public agencies, investors, private sector interests, and community groups involved in complex transactional disputes and litigation.
With extensive experience in nearly all facets of real estate entitlement, development, and regulation, Mr. Gorman has served as the attorney for cities, corporations, redevelopment agencies, individuals, and public interest groups in both transactional matters and in litigation. Mr. Gorman has been engaged by foreign investors seeking legal guidance, representation, and advocacy in property acquisition, commercial ventures, and litigation.
Mr. Gorman is a graduate of Loyola Law School (J.D. 2000) and the University of California, Davis (B.A. 1994), which included study at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
